Monday: sleep cycles analysis and article discussion from weekend. HW: write down your earliest memory.
Tuesday: memory and learning begin. HW: talk to someone else about your earliest memory who was there or as close as you can get.
Wednesday: Write down the differences between your earliest memory and what whoever else was there said happened. Explain why there might be differences. Have ready for class TH.
In class take notes on either pg 218-224 (more books are in the storage room across from the stairs -out our room and turn rt) or use Spark Notesand read/notes on all terms or watch and take notes on remembering and forgetting The narrator is odd, but he is the guy who did the Stanford Prison Experiments so of course he is brilliant and weird. The notes we will go over in class next week are: memory ppt.

Tuesday: in class evaluate zombie brains of your classmates. Please sign into the wiki and post your links so that everyone can see. Again,Honors Zombie and CP zombie. Please use this rubric: zombie rubric or a hard copy to evaluate a classmate who you do not sit next to normally. Do not evaluate the person who is evaluating yours. Please read the rubric carefully and fill it out with each part of the brain used and the content that they used.
Wednesday: continue evaluations.
Thursday: in class neurotransmitters. link As you enter, number off 1-6 with 1= acetylcholine, etc. Pair up with the people with the same number as you. Your will each make up a way for your classmates to remember your particular neurotransmitter on your piece of paper (each person turns one in). Visual aide turned in and presented to another group by end of class. Your name must be on the front, please take pride in your work.hw: bring in your 2 evaluations of zombie brain.

Wednesday: For our first group exercise we will be investigating some of the most compelling psychological studies in the field of psychology, blog.Your group will be posting in your class's Methods page which is why you created a login for wikispaces. Please follow the instructions located within that link.
Please prepare to share your findings with the entire class on Monday.
HW is to read and take notes on research methods pgs 25-35 in your text, this is due Friday.
Thursday: finish group presentation for Fri. Take a profile pic of your face, then using showme or whatever you like, clearly and as precisely as possible label the parts of your brain. Use your 3D brain ap to find the:
1. Frontal Lobe
2. Parietal Lobe
3. Temporal Lobe
4. Occipital Lobe
5. Cerebellum and Brain Stem
Your homework is to print out your brain. This will be on display in our room, so put your name on it and take pride in your work. Bring in printed out copy of your labeled brain for Friday.
